Your tasks
- Develop a stream of research at the intersection of marketing, psychology, and new technologies, ideally related to the lab's current research on automation, AI, and human-technology interaction.
- Publish in international, peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings.
- Contribute to the development of an open science strategy for the University of St.Gallen in coordination with the University's Open Science Office.
- Support teaching activities by Prof. de Bellis (e.g., Empirical Social Research, Artificial Intelligence & Behavioral Science).
Your profile
- A passion for behavioral science and new technologies.
- An excellent master's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, psychology, behavioral economics, or a related field.
- Outstanding English communication and writing skills. Knowledge of German is beneficial but not required.
- Strong quantitative research skills and experience in designing and conducting empirical research, especially online experiments.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and a command-line tool such as R.
- Excellent project management skills, self-discipline, team-orientation, and openness to work in an international team.
We review applications on a rolling basis and continue until the positions are filled. The positions are fully funded for 4 years, the average duration for successfully obtaining a PhD.
