Private Driver

As part of its activities, our company is looking for a reliable, discreet and professional private driver / executive driver, responsible for ensuring the transportation of the Management as well as, according to needs, clients, suppliers, partners.

The holder of the position will have the main mission of ensuring safe, punctual and comfortable journeys, mainly in French-speaking Switzerland, but also in the rest of Switzerland and occasionally abroad.

This position requires great discretion, a neat appearance, an excellent sense of service as well as the ability to adapt to schedules and requests that may vary according to the needs of the Management and the company.

The driver will be specifically responsible for:

- Ensuring the professional and private transportation of the Management.

- Taking charge of and accompanying the company’s clients, suppliers and business partners.

- Carrying out transfers to and from airports, train stations, hotels, offices, industrial sites, restaurants and meeting places.

- Planning routes and anticipating traffic conditions to guarantee punctual journeys.

- Ensuring smooth, careful and passenger-appropriate driving.

- Maintaining the cleanliness, presentation and general good condition of the vehicles provided.

- Organising or monitoring routine vehicle operations: fuel/recharge, cleaning, maintenance, tyres, inspections and garage appointments.

- Promptly reporting any anomalies or necessary interventions on a vehicle.

- Being available for certain trips or occasional assignments related to the needs of the Management or the company.

- Maintaining absolute confidentiality regarding conversations, journeys, people met and information to which the driver may have access in the course of their duties.

Profile sought

We are looking for a person:

- holding a driving licence valid in Switzerland and possessing excellent driving experience;

with particularly safe, calm and comfortable driving;

- punctual, reliable and organised;

- discreet and respectful of confidentiality;

- presenting an excellent appearance and professional behaviour;

- courteous and comfortable with a clientele and professional contacts;

- capable of working independently and anticipating needs;

- flexible regarding hours when circumstances require;

- possessing a good knowledge of French-speaking Switzerland and, ideally, the Swiss road network;

- comfortable with modern navigation and communication tools.

- Mastery of French is essential. A good knowledge of English is a significant advantage given the possible handling of international clients and suppliers.

Beyond driving, we are looking for a trustworthy, discreet, courteous and professional person.

The driver will be regularly in direct contact with Management, its business partners and guests. Particular attention will therefore be paid to interpersonal skills, confidentiality, punctuality and the quality of service provided.
