Accountant 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Responsibility for the accounting support of our international branches and subsidiaries, including auditing local annual financial statements, reconciliation accounts and recording according to IFRS standards, liquidity management, processing supplier invoices as well as monitoring tax and social security obligations

• Central contact person for cross-border VAT issues, especially in the preparation of tax returns in various European countries

• Support and representation in various finance and accounting tasks (for example currency hedging and withholding tax matters)

• Committed participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

• Professional support and advice to our international colleagues in various accounting processes

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed commercial training with further education to a specialist certificate in finance and accounting or equivalent qualification

• Solid professional experience in financial accounting as well as practical knowledge in the area of international VAT

• Proficient use of SAP as well as very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel

• Very good language skills in German, French and English; French is regularly used in cross-location collaboration and in communication with business partners

• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in working with different contacts in an international environment

• Willingness to travel regularly to Western Switzerland approx. 20%
