Internship in Social Policy at Procap Switzerland

Procap is the largest mutual aid organization for people with disabilities in Switzerland. We fight for an inclusive society and the rights of people with disabilities – through our political engagement, projects, and services.

In the field of social policy, we make the voices of those affected heard, closely follow political developments, draft position papers, and conduct advocacy actions – with the aim of building an inclusive and truly equal Switzerland.

Internship in social policy at Procap Switzerland (60–80%, for a duration of 9-12 months, workplace: Olten) Starting February 1, 2026

Your tasks You will get an overview of political work and interest representation at the national level and support the team in the following activities:

• Monitoring, researching, and analyzing political developments, especially in the field of social insurance
• Drafting position papers, position documents, and arguments
• Preparing and supporting lobbying activities
• Organizing events or internal meetings
• Communication and project management tasks related to representing the interests of people with disabilities

Your profile

• Bachelor's degree in progress or completed (e.g., in political science, social sciences, law, or equivalent education)
• Very good knowledge of the Swiss political landscape
• Interest in political processes and social policy issues
• Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics
• Writing and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and team spirit
• Fluency in French or German, both spoken and written, good knowledge of the other language
