For our school unit Gerberacher-Berg, we are seeking a committed, strong leadership personality as
Co-Head (60 - 70 %) from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement

Your School Unit

The Gerberacher-Berg school unit comprises nine primary classes and three kindergartens with around 240 pupils as well as a diverse care offering. Together we create a place where learning, relationships, and development go hand in hand. Our team of around 40 members nurtures the "School Garden" with passion and professionalism: Here, not only knowledge is imparted, but trust is sown, community strengthened, and space created for individual development. Existing strengths are carefully maintained, new ideas are allowed to germinate, and successes are brought to bloom together. You will encounter an experienced, reflective team that joyfully develops further and is open to new impulses – knowing that sustainable development requires time, attention, and joint commitment.

Your Responsibilities

As part of a two-person co-headship, you will take responsibility for the school unit in pedagogical, organisational, and personnel matters. You actively shape school and quality development and create conditions in which children and adults can equally flourish.

With a keen sensitivity for people and processes, you initiate impulses, accompany developments, and ensure that ideas take root and have a lasting impact. You keep an overview, provide orientation, and create reliability. You recognise when leadership, structure, or also freedom are needed so that people and ideas can develop.

You share these leadership tasks in partnership within the co-model. Mutual trust, openness, and a shared understanding of leadership form the fertile ground for your collaboration. You will be supported by a school leadership assistant as well as a strong network within the Wädenswil Primary School.


Your Profile

You are an experienced leader from the school environment and ideally bring the following:
Training as a school leader (CAS or DAS)
Pedagogical basic training including professional experience
In-depth knowledge of school and quality development
A cooperative, inclusive, and appreciative leadership style
Strong communication skills, organisational talent, and resilience
Enjoyment in shaping and further developing a lively school culture together with your co-head, the team, parents, and other stakeholders.
