Your Tasks
– Situational deputy for the Head of the Research Office
– Collaboration on strategic topics of the Research Office and the R&D department
– Technical and operational co-coordination of the Grants Office
– Advice and support for HSLU researchers in project submissions and management
– Support for Central Switzerland researchers in EU research projects
– Formal review of research proposals
– Contact person of the Grants Office for the Departments of Design Film Art and Music
– Maintaining contacts within the Euresearch network, with research funding organizations domestically and abroad (SNF, Innosuisse, EU funding programs) as well as similarly oriented service offices of other universities
– Processing, providing, and conveying relevant information and developments regarding research funding
Your Profile
– Master's degree (preferably with a social science background and doctorate)
– Knowledge of the Swiss research funding landscape (especially Innosuisse, SNF, and EU research funding programs)
– Research skills and experience with third-party funded project cycles
– Interdisciplinary advisory competence regarding research acquisition and management and related financial aspects
– Experience with professional coordination tasks in agile teams
– Networked thinking as well as very good communication and social skills, integrative personality, and service orientation
– Proactivity and motivation to engage with new topics and contribute ideas
– Excellent language skills in German and English
– Teamwork, flexibility, and an independent and structured way of working
