About the job
As a senior consultant with special functions, you lead an outpatient psychiatry team and, as a member of the site management, help determine the development of the department and site. A leadership role with genuine scope, at a railway junction with direct trains to Germany.
The outpatient clinic is the psychiatric contact point for adults of an entire valley community. Psychiatric and psychotherapeutic assessments, treatments, and consultations take place here, also for relatives. In addition, there is a consultative and liaison service in the hospitals of the region. You are not simply taking on a senior consultant position here. You lead the outpatient clinic together with the management members and sit on the site’s leadership team.
The employer is a psychiatric corporate group with around 1,400 employees at nine locations. It is a teaching hospital of the Medical Faculty of the University of Zurich and a partner of the Joint Medical Master of the University of St. Gallen. For you, this means: many colleagues for professional exchange and career paths that go beyond your own site.
And then there is this landscape. After the consultation hours, you are quickly at Lake Walen, where the Churfirsten rise steeply from the water. In winter, a ski day awaits at Pizol or Flumserberg. Those who need city air can be in Zurich in about an hour, and Liechtenstein and Vorarlberg are right next door. For visits to the old homeland, there are even direct long-distance trains to Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg.
Your tasks:
- You lead the adult psychiatry outpatient clinic together with the management members and are responsible for its professional and organisational orientation
- You assess patients psychiatrically and psychotherapeutically, treat and advise them and their relatives in an interdisciplinary team

- As a member of the site leadership team, you actively shape the further development of the department and site
Your competencies:
- Specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy
- Leadership experience is an advantage, as is the willingness to take responsibility and further develop structures

Your benefits:
- Leadership with scope for design: Management of an outpatient clinic and seat on the site leadership team
