Exciting tasks await:

• Ensuring the secure accommodation of a maximum of 10 prisoners in SITRAK II (high security) according to social work principles in small group custody within a 6-person team
• Responsibility for the correct handling of prisoner concerns and for the care of the detention unit
• Support during night-time admissions to the central prison (on-call duty)
• Various administrative tasks (e.g. reporting, journal keeping, appointment monitoring, etc.)
• Performing weekend and staffing duties as well as duties in the fire brigade of the Lenzburg Correctional Facility (including breathing apparatus)

What you bring:

• Completed 3- or 4-year vocational training with a federal certificate of competence, additional qualification as a specialist for correctional services with a federal diploma is desirable. Due to the current team composition, a candidate with this qualification is preferred
• Several years of professional experience in correctional services, good knowledge of at least one foreign language
• Fitness for breathing apparatus use (membership in the company fire brigade), good basic physical condition as well as participation in team supervisions
• Solution-oriented working style, strong critical ability, empathetic attitude, high resilience, ability to cooperate, team player
• Minimum age: 28 years, impeccable character (current criminal and debt register extract). Willingness to work irregular shifts

At the Lenzburg Correctional Facility , persons sentenced to imprisonment or custodial measures are cared for. The facility offers 380 custodial places for closed custody, pre-trial detention and short sentences.
