In order to ensure the quality of outpatient and inpatient care and to guarantee participation in pre- and post-graduate training in neurology, the medical management of the Fribourg hospital is looking for a

Chief Resident or Associate Physician in Neurology, 2-year fixed-term contract

80 - 100 %

Your mission:

• participate in quality care of patients in the stroke unit and hospital wards
• participate in outpatient consultations
• support, as far as possible, the neurophysiological activity of the hospital and outpatient consultation (in particular ENMG and Doppler)
• participate in the on-call service
• supervise assistant physicians and participate in their training
• participate in multicentre clinical studies or those developed locally
• participate in the teaching of students from the University of Fribourg

Your profile:

• FMH specialist certificate in neurology (or equivalent) as a neurologist
• at least 3 years of experience in neurology in an A-level clinic
• ideally SSNC certificate or equivalent for ENMG and Doppler, EEG certificate also welcome
• proficiency in French (written and spoken) and German (spoken)
• dynamic, open and collegial personality
• interest in general neurology, teaching and clinical research
