ecobau is one of the most important players in the field of sustainable construction in Switzerland. As an association of public builders and educational institutions, it specializes in ecology, circular construction, and health. The goal is to simplify sustainable construction by developing and distributing tools, standards, and reference works. Description
To complement our seven-member team at the office in Zurich, we are looking for a technically skilled and committed person to join the team immediately or by arrangement to work on the certification of building products. You will be the contact point for manufacturers, implement the certification process, and act as the interface to our external evaluation experts. As the largest certification body for building products in Switzerland, this position offers a wide range of tasks, requires organizational talent, and demands enjoyment in contact with our customers and evaluation experts. Depending on your profile, additional tasks may also be part of your employment.
Tasks
- In the ecoProdukte department, you are responsible for the recertification process of building products. You work with existing customers and ensure that the building products receive a new current evaluation by the evaluation experts.
- The recertification process guides your work. You maintain contact with manufacturers, sales partners, answer questions, and ensure the quality of the evaluation documents.
- You use the process-accompanying online cockpit for the evaluation process.
- You exchange information with our team and other departments.
Requirements
- You want to contribute to sustainable construction by evaluating and making visible building products with lower environmental and health impacts.
- Thanks to your scientific, engineering, or chemistry education or experience, terms such as greenhouse gas emissions, health and environmental impacts, circular economy, or disposal in the context of building products are not foreign to you.
- You are willing to further develop your expertise.
- You like to work precisely and structured and have a high organizational talent.
- You are service-oriented and a team player, but also enjoy working independently and responsibly.
- Good knowledge of relevant Microsoft tools, especially Excel, and IT affinity are important.
