Main tasks
• Expertise on the OpCon scheduler: Enterprise Manager, Windows/Linux agents, calendars, dependencies and monitoring.
• Designing and optimising complex high-volume batch processing chains.
• Promoting automation best practices among various teams, support and training.
• Writing service documentation (Wiki).
• Implementing and testing OpCon API interfaces.
• Participating in various scheduling-related projects, including defining hardware and software infrastructures.
• Good knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (PagerDuty).
Tasks and responsibilities
• Administer and maintain critical OpCon platforms (Run).
• Also ensure level 2 IT Support Operations on-call duty / managing critical night incidents, one week per month.
• The role requires rigour, method, flexibility, responsiveness and strong availability.
Requirements
• Expertise in schedulers (OpCon / Control-M).
• Expertise in monitoring tools (Tivoli, Nimbus, PagerDuty, etc.).
• Good command of Unix and Windows operating systems.
• Scripting skills (Perl, Bash, Korn Shell, PowerShell).
• Excellent command of English and French, both spoken and written.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good stress management.
