Position: Product & Substance Compliance Engineer Intern
Entity: TQM / CSR
Location: Sonceboz-Sombeval, Switzerland
Do you wish to contribute to strategic projects with a strong environmental and regulatory impact, at the heart of the manufacturing industry's transition challenges?
Within our team, you will contribute to structuring projects aimed at strengthening the compliance of our products and managing their environmental impact throughout their life cycle.
· Contribute to regulatory anticipation and support teams in identifying and substituting concerned substances, relying on the regulatory radar.
· Investigate the end of life of our products and the exposure to hazardous substances contained therein to limit the impact beyond regulatory requirements on populations.
· Implement a client response process to regulatory requirements of product and substances compliance (EU, USA, CN, etc.) that is efficient and proactive.
· Establish an internalised response process to ethical sourcing requirements concerning conflict minerals (CMRT, EMRT) and export sanctions (UFLPA, OFAC) by adopting the hybrid approach already in place.
· Strong interest in sustainability, eco-design, and compliance issues in an industrial environment.
· Solid knowledge in materials, chemistry, or polymer and metal sciences.
· Interest in product and substance regulations as well as associated environmental issues.
· Curiosity, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently.
· Enjoyment of cross-functional projects involving different company departments.
· Proficiency in professional English, both spoken and written.
· Final year engineering student (Master’s level or equivalent), specialising in chemistry, materials, environment, or regulatory compliance.
