For our client in the Zurich region, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a motivated
Safety Manager Track Construction (m/f/d)
What should you bring?
- Completed vocational training
- Training as a safety manager in the track area is mandatory
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form
- High sense of responsibility and safety orientation
- Flexible, reliable and resilient personality with team spirit
- Willingness to work irregular hours (night and weekend work)
- Good physical condition
- Driving licence category B
What can you expect?
- Responsibility for safety during work in and beside the track area
- Planning, setting up and implementing the safety arrangements
- Leadership and instruction of safety guards as well as briefing of employees
- Monitoring compliance with all safety regulations during train passages
- Coordination and communication with responsible authorities via radio or telephone
- Initiating measures such as switching off and earthing of overhead lines
- Inspection of machines, equipment and work processes on the construction site
