CNC Screw Machinist

About the job

We are a Swiss SME specialising in screw machining, active in the manufacture of high-precision parts for the connector, medical, and automotive industries. We have a small qualified team of 10 employees and offer them a pleasant and dynamic working environment. To complete our team, we are recruiting a CNC Screw Machinist / CNC Screw Machinist Mechanic.

Profile:

• A CNC screw machinist training with a Federal VET Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in screw machining including machine setup and production monitoring.
• Knowledge of programming is an asset, Fanuc and Mitsubishi.
• Work rigour, autonomy, and versatility. Person interested in the varied work of a small SME. Team spirit.

Main responsibilities:

• Setup of CNC screw machines such as Citizen and Hanwha, including programming and tooling preparation.
• Production monitoring including control, chip removal, material change, etc.
• Maintenance of production tools and their environment. Following production and quality instructions.
