Job Description
- Provide comprehensive care for the patient and her baby(ies) to foster the mother-child relationship.
- Maintain clinical reasoning to optimise the quality of care and patient safety during prenatal, perinatal and postnatal periods.
- Apply hygiene rules and protocols to prevent infection.
- Adopt a clinical and tailored approach to the patient’s and/or her baby(ies)’ pain.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anaesthetists and paediatricians.
- Participate in the supervision and evaluation of trainees.
- Ensure compliance with current processes.
- Adhere to institutional policy.
Qualifications
- Midwife diploma.
- Diploma(s) registered or recognised by the Swiss Red Cross.
- Definitive or ongoing practice rights in the canton of Geneva.
- Minimum two years’ experience in maternity care preferred.
