Your Responsibilities
- You lead the validation of the Defence platform from concept to pre-series release
- You ensure the technical release of the platform and present its status in project meetings
- You review and contribute to project specifications in collaboration with technical experts
- You support Project Managers and Sales in customer discussions related to platform validation
- You define and apply DVP methods and processes with support from Subsystem Owners, based on Defence requirements
- You collect and assess technical topics from Sales, Customer Service, and Project Management
- You ensure validation activities align with project planning and Defence-specific requirements
- You coordinate supplier discussions with support from Subsystem Owners when needed
- You plan validation activities and timelines across project stages, including field and series phases
- You oversee subsystem validation, including field tests, system integration, and serial issue resolution
- You approve technical releases, Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R), Technical Datasheets, and production test programs
- You represent technical aspects in Core Team, Project Reporting, and other relevant meetings
Your Profile
- You hold a master's degree in mechanical engineering or have equivalent professional experience
- You have at least five years of experience in Defence engine validation or similar combustion engine applications
- You bring proven expertise in validation processes tailored to Defence engine usage and lifecycle
- You demonstrate strong leadership, engagement, flexibility, and resilience
- You have good exposure to cost and resource management
- You are fluent in English and ideally have a good command of German and/or French
