About the job
Physiotherapy is more than just a treatment plan on paper for you. It’s about Mrs K. walking safely to Migros again after her fall. About Mr B. managing the path from the living room to the garden alone after his knee operation. These moments don’t happen in the therapy room, but where people truly live — in their own home, in their own neighbourhood. That’s exactly where your skills come into play.
This is what your day looks like
08:00
You start with your company car. First appointment in Zug — client after stroke, gait training and balance. You already know her and know what’s planned for this week.
08:15
Stairwell instead of therapy room. Three steps, one handrail, no banister on the left side. This is where what really matters in everyday life becomes visible. You observe, correct and instruct the husband for the exercises between your appointments.
09:45
Short drive to the next appointment. On the way, you call the occupational therapist — shared client, coordination on assistive devices. Rollator or cane? The decision is made together today.
10:15
Second appointment. Mobilisation after hip replacement. You look at the path from the bed to the bathroom, the door thresholds and the entrance — and immediately know how the rehabilitation will look over the next three weeks. You write the report to the health insurance later via app.
12:30
Lunch break — you choose where. No canteen table, no briefing in the meeting room.
13:30 to 16:30
Three more appointments in Zug and surroundings. Fall prevention, respiratory therapy, strength building — all in the real everyday life of the clients. You finish at 17:00.
What you do with us
- Mobile physiotherapy at clients’ homes — apartment, stairwell and neighbourhood
- Neurorehabilitation, geriatrics and orthopaedics — after stroke, hip or knee replacement, fall or hospital discharge
- Gait training, balance training and fall prevention as well as manual therapy and respiratory therapy in the real living environment
- Instruct relatives as co-therapists and collaborate interdisciplinarily with occupational therapy, speech therapy and nursing
- Reports for disability insurance, health insurers and referring doctors — digital and on the go
What you bring with you
- Diploma as physiotherapist FH or equivalent — recognised in Switzerland
- Driving licence category B — you drive daily between your appointments. Company car including private use is provided from day 1.
- Experience with adults — neurology, geriatrics and orthopaedics. Paediatrics is a different professional field.
- Independent working — you decide on site, without a boss in the room. The team is reachable by phone but not present.
- You don’t need your own therapy room — your workplace is the client’s home. That’s method, not compromise.
What we offer:
- 🚗 Company car including private use, fuel card included — also for private trips at weekends.
- ⌛ Workload 60 to 80% — you choose, we adapt. Also for returnees or part-time models.
- 🏠 Home office for administration — reports, documentation and planning you do via app from home.
- ⏱️ No shift work, Monday to Friday — you plan your day yourself, no night shifts.
- 📍 Short distances in your region — your appointments in and around Zug are within a manageable radius. More time for therapy, less time in the car.
- 🧑 🎓 Further training is supported, both in time and financially — for example neurorehabilitation, manual therapy or assistive device provision.
- 🏝️ 5 weeks holiday, plus health bonus — up to 2 additional days per year.
Why reha at home — and not a clinic or practice?
- You work in real everyday life — not in a therapy room simulating everyday life. Stairwell, kitchen, cellar, garden or neighbourhood street. That is your therapy room.
- More time per client than in many clinic or practice structures. No rigid schedule, no next patient in the waiting room — you can stay where it is currently important.
- True interdisciplinarity: Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and nursing work on the same client. Not side by side, not just by file note — but agreed, coordinated and effective.
- We are the only organisation in Switzerland that combines mobile rehabilitation, therapy and nursing in this way. A workplace that does not exist everywhere in this form.
Who we are:
reha at home AG is everything — just not ordinary. 💥
As an innovative subsidiary of Knecht Holding AG, we are the only Swiss organisation that directly combines mobile rehabilitation with classic Spitex services. In and around Zug, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nursing specialists and SRK nursing assistants work hand in hand.
This means: We bring therapy and nursing to where our clients feel most comfortable — home. 🏡
Are you looking for a job in physiotherapy in Zug that is more than a position in a practice or clinic?
Then your new role in mobile physiotherapy and rehabilitation is right here.
