• Disciplinary leadership of a Java development team (approx. 10 employees) responsible for the areas of network, Linux, diagnostic systems, and visualization on the vehicle
• Further development of employees within their areas of responsibility and roles
• Continuous improvement of development processes and methods at the St. Margrethen site as well as across locations
• Constant optimization of workflows and cross-departmental collaboration
• Responsibility for task and resource planning considering quality, deadlines, and costs
• Driving force for standardization and innovations in the specialist department
• Management of the software portfolio

• Completed studies in computer science, systems engineering, or a comparable technical education
• Several years of professional and leadership experience, ideally in plant or rail vehicle construction as well as in leading development teams
• Strong technical understanding and interest in rail vehicles
• You acquire new knowledge independently and keep an overview even with complex topics
• Strong communication and leadership skills to promote collaboration with internal interfaces (e.g., software and electrical engineering, commissioning) as well as external partners (customers, suppliers, experts)
• Very good German and English skills (C1) in spoken and written form
