Your Profile
- Enjoyment of technical equipment, systems and food
- Interest in chemistry and physics
- Technical understanding, powers of observation
- Good sense of smell and taste
- Good oral and written German skills
Your Tasks
The work of food technologists specialising in bakery products involves professionally mixing and kneading dough, baking breads and cakes, as well as preparing creamy fillings. They operate and control large production systems such as production, filling and packaging machines. They also monitor ongoing processes in production. Furthermore, they regularly carry out quality controls by, for example, tasting products or providing samples for laboratory testing.
