Mechanic / Commissioning Engineer for E-Truck Production (m/f/d)

To strengthen our E-Truck Production department, we are looking for ambitious automation technicians, truck mechatronics technicians, agricultural machinery mechanics, automotive specialists, electricians or polymechanics who will bring our electric trucks onto the road.

Committed to sustainability, we shape electromobility with innovative drives, chargers and mobility concepts. The Designwerk team, consisting of around 200 employees, successfully brings sustainable commercial vehicles and proprietary products onto the road.

Your Area of Responsibility

Commissioning of E-Trucks
Troubleshooting and fault rectification on E-Trucks
Manufacturing and assembling mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components
Cabling work including in the DC high-voltage area (after appropriate training)
Implementing varied prototype construction and special projects
Creating up-to-date documentation for our E-Truck assembly, including video documentation
Performing maintenance and servicing work on vehicles and equipment
Adhering to quality standards

Your Advantages

Completed vocational training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) in one of the following professions: truck mechatronics technician, automotive mechatronics technician, agricultural machinery mechanic, polymechanic or automation technician
Professional certificate as a vehicle diagnostics specialist for commercial vehicles or passenger cars is an advantage
Good knowledge in electronics and mechanics
Driving licence category C/E is an advantage
(possibility to obtain this licence exists)
Independent, eager to learn and committed as well as responsible
Good German skills, English skills are an advantage
