About the job
At Ampersand, fire is at the centre of attention. We grill over an open fire, develop our seasonal dishes together, and are looking for a personality who takes responsibility, leads a team of 4–6 kitchen staff, inspires and cooks with passion.
We use exclusively Swiss meat as well as high-quality products from local suppliers.
Around the globe, the grill is celebrated with various influences and in different ways. This diversity is tangibly lived at the Ampersand restaurant. Here, we transform meat, vegetables, fish and even sweets on the open charcoal grill into real delicacies. The contemporary interior design with high-quality equipment, as well as the exciting wine selection, contribute to a unique visit to Ampersand.

- You are responsible for the entire kitchen area
- You lead the 4-6 member kitchen brigade and organise the deployment planning
- You actively shape the offer structure and work closely with the operations manager
- You are responsible for purchasing and inventory management
- You keep the budgeted food costs under control
- You promote proactive collaboration with the management
- You have completed professional training as a chef EFZ
- You have already gained some leadership experience
- You are a team player and bring enthusiasm for working in the kitchen
- You already have experience with grilling
- You describe yourself as a flexible, conscientious and organised personality
- You have a creative and dynamic nature with a calm working style
