We are looking for you as
All-rounder outdoor pool restaurant summer season 2026 (m|f|d)
hourly wage | start from May 2026 or by arrangement
Workplaces: Solothurn outdoor pool, Römerstrasse 43, 4500 Solothurn | Eichholz swimming pool, Schwimmbadstrasse 1, 4563 Gerlafingen
Do you enjoy working in a lively outdoor pool operation and like to pitch in – whether at the cash register, in the kitchen, or restocking? Then become part of our team at the Solothurn and Gerlafingen outdoor pool restaurants and help us ensure a perfectly enjoyable pool day.
These are your tasks with us
• Assisting in the kitchen (e.g., frying hamburgers, preparing hot dogs, frying fries)
• Operating the cash register including billing
• Various cleaning tasks (terrace, dishwashing, etc.)
• Restocking goods (kiosk, drinks, pastries, salads, etc.)
• Assisting with events and banquets
Important to know
Shifts depend on the weather – on busy days, long shifts (> 8 h) can occur, and on bad weather, short shifts (< 3 h). In exceptional cases (e.g., events), a shift can last into the night. Therefore, we cannot offer a position with a fixed workload. You will usually be assigned to one pool, with occasional shifts at the other pool possible.
You bring with you
• You are of legal age and live nearby
• German skills at least level B2 are mandatory
• Neat appearance and friendly interaction with guests
• High flexibility: schedules are created weekly for the following week
• Weekend work is unavoidable (we especially rely on support on weekends)
• Minimum duration: at least 6 weeks (at 100%) – can also be planned over the season
• Known dates/vacations should be registered early (preferably before the pool season starts)

• Gross hourly wage CHF 25.00 (including holidays/vacation/13th-month salary)

Workplace: Hans Huber-Strasse 38, 4500 Solothurn
Do you love creating fine pastry creations from good ingredients? You work carefully, have an eye for detail, and like to start early in the morning so that our customers can enjoy fresh moments of pleasure daily? We are especially proud of our Solothurn cake – a classic for which we are known far beyond the region. If you want to contribute to such specialties, become part of our production team.
These are your tasks with us:
• Production of pastry and patisserie items (e.g., cakes, desserts, etc.)
• Participation in the production of the popular Solothurn cake and other house specialties
• Weighing, preparing, and processing raw materials according to recipes
• Baking, filling, glazing, and decorating our products with attention to detail
• Participation in seasonal specialties
• Ensuring quality, hygiene, and cleanliness (HACCP) in the production area
• Proper handling of machines, equipment, and work materials
• Preparation of orders and support in inventory management/goods receipt
• Teamwork in production – with a good rhythm and clear processes
• Work usually starts at 04:30 or 05:30
• One weekend shift per week: 03:30 (Sat) / 03:00 (Sun)
• One Sunday shift per month (twice with many Sundays/holidays)
You bring with you:
• Completed training as a baker / pastry chef EFZ (or equivalent)
• Passion for pastry, precise work, and high quality standards
• Reliable, independent, and clean working style
• Resilience and enjoyment of a lively production routine
• Team spirit and responsible behavior
• Good German skills

• Daytime operation: No night shifts! We have family-friendly opening hours
