In our nine operating theatres, over 8,800 procedures are performed annually in the specialist areas of visceral surgery, bariatrics, vascular surgery, traumatology, orthopaedics, hand surgery, urology including Da Vinci, gynaecology, ENT and paediatric orthopaedics as well as plastic-reconstructive surgery. The Institute for Anaesthesia and Intensive Care provides over 18,000 hours of anaesthesia annually in the operating theatre and the White Zone. Modern, evidence-based anaesthesia is practised in all areas of anaesthesia.
Direct applications are preferred; external recruitment agencies are not given priority.
- in the preparation and administration of anaesthesia under specialist medical delegation in all shifts
- in the individual care of patients in intervention rooms such as the shock room, angiography and delivery room as well as during resuscitations
- in the co-supervision of students in the NDS HF Anaesthesia Care and assistant doctors in training
- in taking on zone and/or shift leadership
