Our drivers are the link to our customers: they not only deliver but actively bring new material to the plant. You lead this team of around 20 drivers and are the interface between customers, sales, production and fleet.
The Galvaswiss Group operates the largest hot-dip galvanising plants, paint shops and powder coatings in Switzerland. For our location in Wellhausen with around 120 employees, we are looking for a
Head of Scheduling & Fleet (m/f/d) 100%
What to expect from us:
- Leadership of the driver team (approx. 20 drivers): deployment and holiday planning, working time control, employee discussions
- Drivers as sales interface: planning routes with room for customer visits and collections, coaching drivers in their role with customers
- Scheduling of own trucks and external transporters, telephone contact point for customer collection orders
- Coordination with production, sales and the other plants of the group
- Maintenance, operational readiness and costs of the fleet, involvement in new acquisitions
- Compliance with legal regulations (driving and rest times, LSVA, load securing)
Your profile:
- Several years of experience in road transport in Switzerland - as a dispatcher or as a C/CE driver who wants to take the next step
- Leadership experience or natural authority in the team. You know the work of drivers first-hand
- Knowledge in the construction or metal construction environment is an advantage
- Resilient, decisive and strong in communication - with drivers as well as with customers
- Good German skills, confident handling of PC (ERP, MS Office)
