Automation Technician (m/f/d)
The ROCKEN partner develops, produces and distributes sophisticated plastic injection moulded parts and assemblies for the industrial, medical and laboratory sectors. Their range of services extends from development and design, through injection moulding and subsequent operations, to worldwide distribution. Role:
As an Automation Technician, you are a key figure in the smooth operation and technical advancement of highly modern machine and plant systems. With your electrotechnical expertise, you ensure maximum system availability, optimise control systems and implement innovative solutions for process automation.
You are not only responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting but also play an active role in continuous improvement, documentation and training within the technical team. Your tasks range from diagnosis and repair to the further development of complex control systems, thereby making a decisive contribution to efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Independent fault analysis and rectification on machines and systems to ensure uninterrupted operation
Proactive maintenance focusing on the longevity, safety and efficiency of technical systems
Further development, optimisation and automation of machines, systems and control systems
Supervision and technical monitoring of specific production systems with a high degree of automation
Creation, maintenance and continuous updating of technical documentation and maintenance protocols
Training and support of maintenance teams for knowledge transfer and quality assurance
Execution and coordination of electrical installations in the field of machine and control technology
Participation in modernisation and innovation projects to implement new technologies
Assumption of tasks as an industrial electrician, especially in the area of control technology and system integration
Qualifications:
Completed technical training as an automation technician, electrician or a comparable electrotechnical qualification
Experience in maintenance, servicing and optimisation of automated systems and control systems
Solid knowledge of electrical installations as well as fault finding and diagnosis
Practical knowledge in PLC programming (especially Siemens S7, Schneider Electric) and control technology
Experience with mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and drive technology
Analytical, systematic and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of personal responsibility and assertiveness
Team-oriented, communicative personality who is flexible and resilient
Structured thinking and interconnected action to successfully implement long-term process optimisations
Willingness to continue learning and adapt to new technological developments
