The Office for Judicial Enforcement (UEG) of Graubünden is a service of the Department of Justice, Security and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. The UEG is responsible for the enforcement of sentences and measures as well as various types of detention. In Graubünden, the enforcement of sentences and measures is thus regulated as a unified thematic area and overall task, within which various professional figures work interdisciplinarily with persons who have committed offences, with the aim of preventing further delinquency.
To strengthen our legal service, we are looking for a lawyer, starting date to be agreed.
- Legal support for prisons and specialist sectors in fulfilling their tasks
- Independent investigations and assessments of legal issues as well as advice to specialist sectors
- Drafting and reviewing decisions
- Verification and support in the preparation and revision of internal instructions, disciplinary regulations, internal regulations as well as contracts
- Conducting appeal procedures
- Collaboration on projects (e.g. revisions of laws and ordinances, opinions and drafts of departmental decisions and government decrees)
- Completed studies in law (licence or MLaw)
- Preferably professional experience in the judicial sector or public administration
- Independent, structured and precise working method as well as aptitude for dealing with various legal issues
- Excellent written and oral expression skills in German; knowledge of other cantonal languages and foreign languages is an advantage
- Aptitude for teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration
