About the job
Electricity powers our lives. And we move electricity. Every day, we commit ourselves to the security of supply on the network side in Switzerland. On behalf of Switzerland and in cooperation with international partners, our employees ensure a powerful and reliable electricity grid.
Swissgrid plans, builds, and operates Switzerland's high-voltage network in coordination with foreign transmission network and domestic distribution network operators.
The electricity industry is undergoing change. In Europe, more and more central large power plants are being replaced by a multitude of decentralised, renewable small power plants combined with storage. This presents new challenges for the grid infrastructure of the future. New technologies in electricity transmission and new operational philosophies are further drivers for the transformation of the transmission network. The transmission network is continuously being reinforced, adapted, or renewed.
For our team in Aarau, we are looking for an intern from June 2026 at the earliest for 6 to 12 months
