Role:
Our ROCKEN partner is an established housing cooperative in the greater Zurich area that creates affordable and attractive housing. For the technical and infrastructural care of a larger residential development, we are seeking a skilled and service-oriented individual.
In this versatile role, you will work together with an experienced caretaker in a well-coordinated two-person team. You will look after the buildings, technical systems, and outdoor areas and serve as a competent contact person for the residents. You can expect a long-term oriented working environment with high personal responsibility, short decision-making paths, and no on-call duty.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the maintenance, safety, and functionality of the buildings and outdoor facilities, including winter services.
You independently carry out inspections, maintenance work, and minor repairs.
You operate and monitor heating, ventilation, filtration, and other building technology systems.
You coordinate external tradespeople and check the professional execution of the work.
You assist with apartment inspections, handovers, and preparation for tenant changes.
You are the contact person for residents, administration, internal specialist departments, and external service providers.
You contribute to maintenance planning as well as the preparation of the maintenance and investment budgets.
Qualifications:
Completed vocational training EFZ in a craft or technical field
Professional experience in caretaking, building maintenance, or residential property management
Further training as a caretaker or maintenance specialist with a federal certificate of competence is an advantage
Driving licence category B as well as basic MS Office and PC skills
Very good German language skills, spoken and written
