Job Description
-loading and unloading furniture, boxes and materials-manual handling of goods
-packing and protecting furniture and items before transport
-dismantling and reassembling furniture and fittings
-arranging and securing materials inside the transport vehicle
-supporting moving operations at homes, offices and companies
-using equipment and tools necessary for handling activities
-collaborating with other team members
-observing safety procedures during loading, unloading and handling operations
Requirements
-Previous experience as a mover, porter, warehouse worker or goods handler of at least 2 years preferred-Good physical condition and ability to perform manual work
-Reliability, punctuality and seriousness
-Ability to work in a team
-Flexibility in working hours according to moving needs
-Willingness to travel to clients and sites
-Ability to use simple tools for dismantling and reassembling furniture
-Category B driving licence, own car
