For our client, an established logistics company at the Basel transport hub with several locations at the Swiss Rhine ports, which has been handling bulk goods, containers and heavy cargo transports by water, rail and road for around a hundred years, relying on modern transshipment, silo and storage facilities as well as its own inland vessels, we are looking for reinforcement for the technical service.
 

You ensure that excavators, cranes and heavy machinery run reliably in port operations? Then take on a versatile key role in the maintenance of a traditional logistics company as a mechanic (m/f/d).

 

Your tasks

• Maintenance and repair of construction and agricultural machinery as well as commercial vehicles in the workshop and field service
• Diagnosis and rectification of faults in hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Carrying out maintenance work on cranes, excavators and other heavy machinery
• Participation in on-call and shift work to ensure operational readiness
• Close cooperation with the workshop and terminal teams
• Deployment at different locations depending on operational requirements
  
   

Your profile

• Completed vocational training as an agricultural machinery mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, truck mechanic or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in the maintenance of commercial or construction machinery, ideally including field service assignments
• Sound knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Driving licence category B, category C advantageous
• Willingness for on-call duty and shift work

• Team-oriented, flexible and responsible personality with high resilience and no fear of heights
