About the job
- Supporting the Chef de Rang in attending to and serving guests in your own service area at a high level
- Contributing to a smooth and professional service process in close collaboration with the team
- Properly serving food and drinks according to the standards of fine dining
- Assisting with preparation (Mise en Place), setting tables, and maintaining the service area
- Actively implementing the service philosophy and ensuring friendly and courteous guest service
- Completed training in the hospitality industry desirable (e.g. EFZ Restaurant Specialist or comparable qualification)
- Relevant professional experience in fine dining, ideally in a fine-dining or Michelin-starred restaurant
- Confident appearance in guest contact and strong advisory skills
- Very good German skills, good English skills (additional languages advantageous)
- Well-groomed appearance and high service orientation
- Organisational talent and responsible working style, even under pressure
- Knowledge of hygiene standards and storage regulations in Switzerland (e.g. HACCP)
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings
- Team spirit and enjoyment in collaborating with kitchen and service
- Taster evenings and discounts at the Thermal Spa
