Under the umbrella of the non-profit and non-commercial Siloah Foundation, the Siloah network consisting of hospital, long-term care, Spitex as well as operational and IT functions with around 1,000 employees forms the competence center for integrated care in old age. The Siloah network is currently active at five locations in the canton of Bern and sees itself, among other things, as a solution provider for long-term and Spitex organizations in operational functions.
In the hospital sector at the location in Gümligen, we are looking for a deputy head for our acute geriatric ward Bethanien 1 starting immediately or by arrangement
Your tasks
- You structure and coordinate the processes in a resource-oriented manner on the ward together with the department management
- You work directly in nursing and take over the care, support, treatment, and early rehabilitation of geriatric patients
- You take on the daily responsibility
- You are the contact person for our doctors as well as for our patients and their relatives
- You participate in the interdisciplinary treatment team consisting of doctors, nursing staff, therapists, and social counseling
- You accompany trainees and students in their training
Your profile
- You have a completed degree as a certified nursing professional HF/FH
- You have experience in acute care
- You have a strong interest in leadership or have already gained initial leadership experience
- You are an open, structured, and resilient personality who approaches conflicts in a solution-oriented manner
- You have team spirit and enjoy working interdisciplinarily
- Networked thinking and acting as well as initiative complete your profile
