Your Tasks
As the Head of Hematology at our innovative and interdisciplinary Institute of Laboratory Medicine, your focus is on:
- Ensuring and further developing our high-quality diagnostics in morphology, hemostasis, erythrocyte function diagnostics, and andrology
- Collaboration with the departments of flow cytometry/stem cells, medical genetics, and immunology for the interdisciplinary diagnosis of the complex patient collective
- Close exchange and advisory cooperation with the clinics in-house, especially the hemato-oncological clinics (adults and children)
- Active participation in our training, continuing education, and advanced training program for FAMH and FMH candidates, BMA, and BMA in training
- Representation of the specialist department internally within the hospital as well as on regional, national, and international levels, in professional societies and committees
Your Profile
- Specialist title in Laboratory Medicine FAMH Hematology or foreign equivalent
- Proven work experience in the areas of morphology and haemostaseology
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
- Preferably proven leadership experience in a responsible position
