Polymechanic- Receipt, analysis and planning of technical customer enquiries
- Independent manufacture of mechanical components using the available production resources
- Use of modern rapid prototyping technologies, especially 3D printing
- Design of individual parts as well as smaller assemblies
- Development of practical technical solutions in close collaboration with scientists and the Engineering Centre team
- Professional advice and technical support directly to internal customers
- Execution of order-related administrative tasks, including material planning and procurement
- Completed training as a Polymechanic EFZ or comparable technical training
- Sound knowledge in precision mechanics and manufacturing technology (CNC and CAM knowledge)
- Experience in the design and manufacture of prototypes (CAD knowledge)
- Interest in innovative technologies such as 3D printing and rapid prototyping
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Enjoyment in working with scientists and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills and service-oriented working style
- Good oral and written English skills
