About the job
The Data Analytics team is an enabler for data-driven decisions at SIGA. It ensures transparency and data integrity and supports the business with technical solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. By developing, optimising, and integrating data products along the entire value chain, the team creates the foundation for well-informed business decisions. In close collaboration with departments such as Finance, Sales, and Compliance, scalable and audit-proof reports are created that advance SIGA.
Qualifications and Characteristics
- Completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a comparable field with at least 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or Data Scientist. Alternatively, a technical vocational training with at least five years of relevant professional experience
- Development experience with modern data platforms, (T-)SQL, data pipelines, and data lake structures as well as solid knowledge in ELT processes, data modelling, and report development
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form (level C1) as well as good English skills (level B2)
- Strong analytical and adaptive abilities to understand processes in detail and to implement stakeholder requirements precisely
- Independent and responsible working style with a focus on pragmatic and customer-oriented solutions
About the Job
In this responsible role, you develop and implement data analytics solutions within the Microsoft Azure platform. Furthermore, you maintain and optimise existing ELT pipelines, data lakes, and Power BI reports to ensure efficient and high-quality data preparation and visualisation. Data quality and the protection of sensitive information are always the focus.
Through regular reviews with stakeholders, you ensure that the implemented solutions are targeted, meet the needs of the departments, and create real added value. You develop and optimise data models and reports to enable well-founded, data-based decisions. Additionally, supporting end-user queries and conducting training sessions are part of your responsibilities.
The position offers you the opportunity to evaluate new technologies and actively contribute to the further development of our system architecture. The goal is to continuously improve and develop our data analytics processes across departments.
