The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton. Our security assistants provide important rotating support in various areas for the entire police force. Their assignments are diverse and range from prisoner transport to monitoring and access control in the modern Police and Justice Center Zurich (PJZ).

Your area of responsibility
- Prisoner transports as well as monitoring and presentation of prisoners at courts, public prosecutors, hospitals, etc.
- Security and access controls at the Police and Justice Center Zurich (PJZ)
- Support in prisoner admission / administration
- First intervention at the PJZ
- Reception and care of visitors
Your profile
- Swiss citizenship
- Completed vocational training (EFZ or equivalent qualification)
- Driver's license category B
- Willingness to work night, shift, and weekend duties
- Impeccable reputation
- Resilience and discretion
- Enjoyment in contact with people and strong teamwork skills
- Good health and fitness (ideal height: women from 160 cm, men from 170 cm)
- Good German skills (spoken and written); basic knowledge of English and other foreign languages is an advantage
Training with full salary
For 16 weeks, we will prepare you in full-time classes for the exciting and challenging role as Security Assistant Security Services. The training is paid in full, and upon successful completion of the course, you will receive SPI certification.
