Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist as Structural Planner Timber Construction for the execution and workshop planning of demanding timber construction projects. You will work on element, skeleton and structural constructions and create detailed production, machine and assembly documents using Cadwork. In addition to constructive project work, you will take on planning responsibility for larger projects and coordinate internal as well as external interfaces, depending on your experience. Another focus is on the digitally continuous planning of BIM models from parameterisation to production.
Responsibilities:
Creation of detail, workshop and building system planning for demanding timber construction projects
Construction of element buildings, skeleton buildings and structures with Cadwork
Creation and preparation of machine data, production plans, workshop documents and assembly plans
Technical detailing of timber components, connections, fasteners and constructive interfaces
Assumption of planning coordination and, with appropriate experience, the planning lead for larger timber construction projects
Ensuring technical information and data exchange between project management, production, assembly, specialist planners and external partners
Coordination of planning with architecture, structural engineering and building services as well as handling relevant interfaces
Creation of material and parts lists and support in project-specific material procurement
Preparation of construction data for efficient CNC-/CAM-supported manufacturing and industrial pre-production
Participation in the further development of a BIM-based and digitally continuous construction planning
Development and optimisation of parameterisations, automated planning processes and digital interfaces between planning, production and internal applications
Qualifications:
Completed basic training with EFZ in timber construction or carpentry, for example as a qualified carpenter EFZ or joiner EFZ
Further training as timber construction foreman with federal certificate, technician HF timber technology/timber construction, master carpenter or timber construction engineer FH
Several years of practical experience in workshop and execution planning in timber construction
Very good user knowledge of Cadwork, especially for element and/or skeleton buildings
Sound knowledge in timber construction, detail planning, production and assembly planning
Knowledge of BIM, parametric planning and CNC-/CAM interfaces is an advantage
Very good German language skills for technical documentation and planning coordination
