Job Description
The position concerns public law in general, with a particular focus on legal issues related to digital technology, the digitalisation of the State and the transformation of its relations with citizens, regulation of new technologies, digital sovereignty, as well as private law issues associated with these topics.
We are looking for a motivated person, with excellent analytical skills, interested in the interactions between technology, the State and society, and wishing to engage in a dynamic academic environment.
Title and Required Skills
Master's degree in law from a Swiss university, with a good overall grade. Master's students in law at the Faculty of the University of Geneva may also apply, provided they have already obtained 240 ECTS credits and their diploma thesis is about to be completed. A practising lawyer's certificate is an asset.

The successful candidate will be hired on a two-year contract, renewable for two successive periods, respectively of two years and one year. The maximum duration of the assistant position is five years. The first year constitutes a probationary period, during which the employment relationship may be terminated with three months' notice to the end of a month.
