At Zurich West Prison (GZW), we serve the public 365 days a year and 24 hours a day. Our tasks and challenges are diverse, but we master them together as a team.
Immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for a committed, dynamic, and humorous personality for Zurich West Prison
This is your field of activity in operations scheduling
You and your team record up to 60 entries/exits per day. You review, understand, and file the most important documents related to inmates. Additionally, you check and organize the belongings. Working with people, whether on the phone, at the counter, or during admission, both with inmates and visitors and relatives, suits your personality. We work in a regulated shift system, which means you work weekends, nights, and special shifts. You are willing to contribute to quality assurance and the further development of the operation.
What awaits you as a team leader
- Professional and personnel management of the subordinate employees according to the leadership principles of JuWe (trust, letting go, and experimenting) as a member of management
- Coordination and organization of the operational daily business
- Organization of administrative processes as well as personnel deployment planning
- Team development and promotion of subordinate employees
- Practical guidance within the framework of training and further education
What you bring with you
- A federal certificate of competence, a (specialized) high school diploma, or an equivalent qualification
- Completed or started/planned basic training as a specialist for correctional services with a federal specialist certificate is an advantage
- First leadership experience or completed leadership training is an advantage
- Very good German skills and good knowledge of at least one other language as well as IT user skills are required
- High resilience, assertiveness, conflict ability, and confident appearance
- A minimum age of 25 years
- An impeccable reputation (no entries in the criminal record and debt enforcement register)
