Introduction

For an established social institution, we are looking for an engaged and resilient individual to start immediately or by arrangement to support adults with cognitive impairments and challenging behaviour.

Tasks

• You accompany and support the residents in their daily lives and promote their self-determination.
  
• You create a structured framework and provide orientation and security in daily life.
  
• You implement individual support and care measures and document their progress.
  
• You act professionally, de-escalating and solution-oriented in challenging situations.
  
• You work closely with relatives, legal representatives and other professionals.
  
• You take responsibility in key worker duties and actively contribute to team development.

Profile

• Completed training as a Social Pedagogue HF/FH.
  
• Experience in supporting people with cognitive impairments is an advantage.
  
• Enjoy working with people who have increased needs for structure and support.
  
• High social competence, patience and a respectful approach.
  
• Resilient, reflective and responsible personality.
  
• Willingness to work irregular hours and weekend shifts.
  
• Preferably own vehicle available.
