For our ROCKEN partner, you are responsible as a Strategic Buyer for the comprehensive management of a defined material portfolio. You develop sustainable procurement strategies, optimise cost structures, and ensure reliable supply to production together with internal departments and suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Management of strategic and operational purchasing for defined raw materials and production materials
Development and implementation of category strategies to optimise costs, quality, and availability
Conducting market analyses as well as identifying new supply sources and saving potentials
Responsibility for the entire procurement process including demand planning, order placement, and supplier management
Building and maintaining long-term supplier relationships as well as conducting negotiations
Support in supplier audits, internal controls, and continuous improvement measures
Collaboration with internal interfaces such as production, engineering, and supply chain
Qualifications:
Completed apprenticeship or degree in a technical or commercial field with pronounced technical understanding
Several years of experience in strategic purchasing as well as procurement of industrial materials
Sound knowledge in strategic sourcing, supplier development, and cost optimisation
Experience in an industrial environment, ideally in the cable, electrical, or manufacturing industry
Structured, solution-oriented working style with high personal responsibility and organisational skills
Very good communication skills in collaboration with internal and external partners
Very good German and good English skills as well as confident user knowledge in MS Office and ERP systems
