We are currently seeking an operational buyer (m/f) for a family-run industrial company. The company is a Swiss SME with over 70 years of experience in the development and manufacture of innovative industrial equipment. In addition to its headquarters in Switzerland, it has several subsidiaries and employs a total of over 250 staff.
- Ensuring a smooth ordering process including creation, review and provision of all relevant documents
- Coordination and monitoring of the entire transport chain in cooperation with external logistics and forwarding partners
- Optimisation of product availability and stock levels according to economic criteria and ensuring an efficient material flow
- Checking and processing supplier and transport invoices as well as coordinating the corresponding payment processes with the finance department
- Professional experience as an operational buyer
- Very good language skills in German and English, both spoken and written
- Good handling of ERP systems and MS Office
- Enjoys communication and is a team-oriented personality

Responsibilities
- Responsible for demand-oriented planning and control of defined product groups as well as their timely disposition- Ensuring a smooth ordering process including creation, review and provision of all relevant documents

Profile
- Commercial or technical basic training- Professional experience as an operational buyer
- Very good language skills in German and English, both spoken and written
- Good handling of ERP systems and MS Office
- Enjoys communication and is a team-oriented personality
