YOUR TASKS

Responsibility for processing incoming and outgoing letter and parcel mail as well as courier shipments within contractual guidelines
Ensuring correct triage and timely delivery of incoming mail
Timely and quality-compliant processing of incoming letter and parcel mail according to customer-specific rules (reading and allocation to the responsible department)
Professional investigation and handling of returns
Delivery of shipments within the building and partly performing courier tours with the vehicle
Proper preparation, sorting, and handover of shipments for outgoing mail including courier shipments
Performing additional logistical services for customers
Handling customer enquiries in person, by phone, or by email
Forwarding complex issues to the team leader
Maintenance and care of equipment in the mailroom
Support in collecting shipment volumes for statistics and performance measurements
Independent implementation of optimisation potentials in the sense of continuous improvement processes
Cleaning and maintenance of company vehicles
Close cooperation with customers as well as team members and cross-team in the central mailroom

YOUR PROFILE

Completed training as a logistics specialist EFZ Distribution or comparable qualification
Experience in the field of PostMail, postal logistics, or comparable logistics activities
Reliable, honest, and independent personality with precise working methods
High team spirit and strong customer orientation
Polished manners
Driving licence category B
Physically resilient
Willingness to work very flexible hours and special assignments
Residence in the vicinity of Schaffhausen
A shift consists of two deployment blocks: 06:00–08:00 and 14:30–18:00.
Very good German skills in spoken and written form, additional languages are an advantage
Clean criminal record and debt enforcement register extract
