About the job
Your Tasks
As a student, you are jointly responsible for holistic and competent care, treatment, and support of emergency patients and their relatives. Under professional, competent guidance and supervision, you will acquire the necessary skills for the emergency nursing field during your further training period according to the framework curriculum requirements. You benefit from a comprehensive 2-year postgraduate program. We offer you teaching and coaching by professional trainers and support by specialists in practice. Together with the educational provider of the Aargau Vocational School for Anesthesia, Intensive Care, and Emergency Nursing (see afsain), which organizes the theoretical education, we support and promote you in everyday life.
Your Profile
You are a committed, open-minded individual and hold a diploma as a Registered Nurse HF or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing FH or an equivalent recognized foreign nursing diploma. Your professional experience of at least 6 months in acute care is an advantage. If you lack professional experience, we enable you to acquire it in our emergency department. You have an appropriate understanding of patients in emergency departments, enjoy your profession, interdisciplinary collaboration, and want to further develop your nursing competence. Dealing with rapidly changing, complex situations is a welcome challenge for you.
