Scientific Project Manager for Convergent Multimedia Production

In this role, you are responsible for teaching the module «Convergent Production» in the Bachelor's degree program Multimedia Production (MMP) as well as possibly other courses. You supervise students in the conception and implementation of media-practical study and final projects and guide them in the editorial management of our production platform www.digezz.ch. With your focus on convergent social media communication and moving image production for social media platforms, you ensure the interface between different media formats. In research, you work largely independently. You acquire, lead, and conduct applied research, service, and cooperation projects in current topics of media production. You have the opportunity to bring in and implement your own ideas for applied research projects.

This Bachelor's degree program is jointly offered by the University of Applied Sciences Graubünden and the Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH, Department of the Bern University of the Arts (HKB). Regular presence in Chur is required. Courses also take place at other locations.

Your profile

• Consecutive Master's degree in a relevant field
• Many years of proven professional experience in social media communication, content production, and audiovisual production
• Proven experience in acquiring, leading, and implementing projects, ideally also in research
• Experience in professional handling of cameras and Adobe tools
• Knowledge of relevant trends and developments in media and society (e.g., target groups, AI, formats, platforms)
• Good knowledge of the (Swiss) communications industry and media landscape
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
