For the nursing management of Dementia Counselling Thurgau, we are looking for an open, committed and networked qualified nurse HF/FH as of 1 January 2027, who is eager to help shape and further develop our counselling.

You enjoy empathetically supporting people with dementia and their relatives, taking responsibility and building something at the same time. We put the person at the centre, with their very personal life situation, their environment and their needs. You work outreach in the home environment, support those affected and their relatives and are at the same time an important interface to other professionals, institutions and further services in the canton.

The Outpatient Adult Psychiatry (AEP) together with the Psychiatric Clinic Münsterlingen (PKM) is responsible for the psychiatric and psychotherapeutic care of the adult population in Thurgau. We treat over 7,500 patients annually and offer specialised outpatient, outreach and day clinic services in Münsterlingen, Weinfelden, Kreuzlingen, Frauenfeld and Romanshorn. Nursing Manager Dementia Counselling
Dementia Counselling Thurgau is located under the umbrella of the Specialist Centre for Ageing and Dementia (new from January 2027). Here you can contribute your ideas, take responsibility and explore new paths together with the team.We put the person at the centre, with their very personal life situation, their environment and their needs. You work outreach in the home environment, support those affected and their relatives and are at the same time an important interface to other professionals, institutions and further services in the canton.
You will take on
- You take on the personnel management of dementia counselling and further develop the service together with the team.
- You take on administrative and organisational tasks related to management.
- You lead, support and strengthen the employees and ensure appreciative, motivating and binding collaboration.
- You ensure a high-quality, needs-based and person-centred counselling service for people with dementia and their relatives.
- You conduct counselling yourself and support people with dementia and their relatives outreach in their home environment.
- You support those affected and their relatives with questions about dementia, everyday life, relief, care, nursing and further services.
- You recognise complex situations, coordinate necessary support and, if necessary, establish contact with suitable specialist agencies, institutions and further support services.
You bring with you
- Completed training as a qualified nurse HF/FH
- Professional experience in the care and support of people with dementia and their relatives
- Leadership experience
- Ideally further training in dementia, gerontology, counselling or case management
- Enjoyment in taking responsibility, making decisions and actively shaping a service
- Enjoyment in networking and collaborating with specialist agencies, Spitex, general practitioners, institutions, municipalities and other partners
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Interest in contributing new ideas and further developing processes
- Driving licence, own vehicle and willingness for regional outreach assignments in the canton of Thurgau
