The Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Basel is looking for an assistant at the doctoral level in Jewish History, starting as early as August 1, 2026.
Your tasks
- Collaboration in teaching and research
- Completion of a dissertation

- Teaching obligation: 2 semester hours per week
Your profile
A doctoral qualification in Jewish Studies with a focus on Modern Jewish History is required. An idea for an independent doctoral project should be submitted with the application.We offer you
