Legal Counsel

Implenia is looking for a Legal Counsel for its Onex (Geneva) site. In this key role, you will provide legal advice and support to operational divisions on all matters related to construction law, real estate law, and tenancy law.

Tasks: Legal Counsel

What will your tasks be as a Legal Counsel?

• Comprehensive legal support for construction projects and real estate transactions.
• Drafting and reviewing contracts (including real estate sales contracts, company and mandate contracts, project development contracts, etc.).
• Independent handling of legal cases in construction and real estate law.
• Conducting contract negotiations independently.
• Representing Implenia before courts and state authorities.
• Managing external lawyers.
• Advisory functions in Compliance matters.

Requirements: Legal Counsel

What are your skills as a Legal Counsel?

• Complete university studies in Switzerland (lic. iur./Master of Law) with a Swiss bar admission.
• At least 8 years of professional experience as a lawyer or Legal Counsel, including at least 2 years in construction and real estate law.
• Ability to assert oneself and negotiate.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively and accurately in a constantly changing environment, even under high pressure, and to handle complex issues with economic impact from a legal perspective.
• Native French speaker with very good knowledge of English; German is an asset.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
