Automation Technician Service and Commissioning with International Travel
Tasks
- Worldwide execution of service assignments on customer-specific flat and profile grinding machines
- Analysis and rectification of faults as well as carrying out repairs, overhauls, and modifications on machines
- Installation, commissioning, and acceptance of machines including customer training
- Sales and implementation of service offerings
- Provision of technical customer support including helpline and assistance to customer service
Requirements
- Completed basic training as an automation technician or electronics technician
- Experience in PLC programming as well as knowledge in drive and control technology, Simatic and TIA Portal
- Affinity for mechanical work and confident handling of control systems
- Strong quality and safety awareness as well as solid PC user skills
- Good German and English skills in spoken and written form as well as communicative strength in dealing with international customers
