For our client, an internationally oriented technology company in industrial mechanical engineering, we are looking for a technically skilled individual as a CNC mechanic / application technician (m/f).
The company develops and implements sophisticated solutions for the high-precision machining of workpieces. The position offers the opportunity to work both in the technical environment at the site and directly with international customers.
- You programme and optimise NC processes on modern Siemens controls of the 840D series.
- You develop machining processes, test them, and ensure reliable implementation.
- You conduct practical machining and grinding trials and support technical machine demonstrations.
- You create technical documents, project-specific documentation, and operating instructions.
- You impart your expertise during customer training and demonstrate machine operation and programming to users.
- In international projects, you maintain direct communication with customers and technical partners.
- Worldwide travel activity amounts to around 20%.
- Professional experience with CNC machine tools and sound knowledge in machining.
- Experience with Siemens CNC controls, preferably 840D.
- Knowledge in grinding is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A pronounced technical understanding as well as a solution-oriented and analytical way of thinking.
- Confident handling of common MS Office applications.
- An independent, structured, and at the same time team-oriented working style.
- Enjoyment in contact with international customers and a professional demeanour.
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to undertake international business trips of about 20%.

- You accompany the technical commissioning and take over the execution of machine acceptance tests at the company site as well as with customers abroad.- You programme and optimise NC processes on modern Siemens controls of the 840D series.

Profile
- A completed mechanical or comparable technical vocational training.- Professional experience with CNC machine tools and sound knowledge in machining.
- Experience with Siemens CNC controls, preferably 840D.
- Knowledge in grinding is advantageous but not mandatory.
